M1 MBPro Battery Health at 96% after 5 months... Normal?

I keep my M1 Macbook Pro plugged in almost at all times for about 5 months, and now the battery health is at 96% after 5 months. Is that normal or the battery life is decreasing too fast?

Thanks in advance

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.1

Lithium batteries degrades fastest the first few months after they're new, then it evens off. This is normal. It depends on how you use and charge your battery too. Lithium batteries are the most happy between 30 and 70%. Having them outside that wears more on the battery.

Have a look at this chart. It shows the degredation of the batteries in Tesla Model S and X vehicles. As you can see, most of them has lost about 4-5% of its capacity the first 50,000 km, then the wear evens out.
