Hello, I just bought my MacBook air M1 2020 exactly 5 or 6 days ago. And I just realized that I cannot lift the lid of the MacBook with one hand. When I lift it with one hand, the bottom part raised a bit. Is this normal? Anyone who’s currently using the model longer than me can you clarify this?

This is normal. One hand on the base and the other to open from the center. This permits the screen to stay in any set position without it moving.

It may lift a bit when the screen is almost all the way up, but should not lift much.
You should be able to just put your thumb in the groove in the middle and lift the screen it without it lifting the bottom.
