iMac 24' Stand

Hello everyone, I bought an iMac 24’ from Germany, just about to leave and fly to Madagascar, and want to bring it with me. I want to put it in a suitcase, it fits in except the stand. Anyone knows how to remove the stand? Thanks

The stand it not removable.

You will need ship it in the original shipping box or get a bigger suitcase.

You can't, they are permanently attached. You have to buy one VESA ready in order to not get the stand.

Even in the iFixit teardown they never remove the stand.
