i need to uninstall Microsoft defender but it keeps re-appearing after i uninstall it

I Uninstalled Mircosoft Defender on my Mac (15 inch - 2016), but it keeps re-appearing and hour later.


I have tried multiple ways to uninstall.

1 - Delete it from the Applications tab and then empty my bin

2 - Via the terminal command - sudo '/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Defender/uninstall/uninstall'

3 - Via the Clean my Mac app.


All 3 end up with the app re-appearing. I had to download the app on my personal machine when i used my machine for work, but i cannot get it off now.

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS, alter, modify, remove or delete or attempt to do so is an invitation for disaster and may require a Reinstallation of the OS.


This includes AntiVirus, Disk Cleaners, Disk Optimizes, UnInstaller etc.


And CMM definitely falls into the category. A Testament of the damages this specific application can cause - read the first 600 posting on these forums.
