Outlook O365 Calendar only syncing one way (Mac to iPhone, not iPhone to Mac)

Events created in Outlook O365 on my MacBook Air (M1, Monterey 12.0.1) show up fine in the calendar app on my iPhone 12 (iOS 15.1), but calendar events created in the calendar app on my iPhone don't show up in my Outlook calendar on my MacBook. I saw one other user had this issue in July 2021 but I didn't see a fix.

syncing an Exchange calendar with the Mac Calendar app I use Outlook for my email and the Apple Calendar app for my calendar and appointment. Since some people send me invitations through Outlook they end up on my Outlook calendar and I would like to sync the calendar with my Apple calendar. This seems to work nicely with the Calendar App on my iPhone, as I can see all the Exchange (Outlook) calendars on the phone app. However I tried to set it up so the Exchange calendars would sync with the Calendar app on my Mac and I get an error message "Calendar can’t refresh the account “Exchange”." I'm hoping someone can explain why these 2 different Apple devices are behaving differently and, hopefully, how to fix this. David

Can't sync calendars XR to outlook on pc I'm having problems with syncing my calendar from my XR to my desktop MS Outlook on my PC. This is a new problem. I can enter an event on my Iphone but it does not appear on my Outlook calendar. Oddly enough, when we sync our 2d XR, the event shows up on the 2d XR but it is still not on the Outlook calendar. As I mentioned, this is something completely new. It also only seems to happen with one of the XR's and not the other. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Remove the email accounts from both devices and add them back. If that does not help go to the Microsoft support site.
