Best Skin smoothing filter

I need to retouch some skin in a fashion video.
Wondering which plugin/filter works the best for users out there.

If your subjects aren't too bad off, you can probably simply use the Gaussian effect already in FCPX. Add it to the clip. Turn the Amount down all the way. Add an Effects Mask > Color Mask (already built into the effect) and target the areas that need smoothing. Keep the Softness low to restrict the area of the blur. Increase the Amount to about 15-20 — but only the amount for what is needed. Too much tends to bleed into other areas.

You don't have to try and get ALL areas with one Gaussian effect — the masking gets to be difficult — you can keep the area selections small, use more than one Gaussian if you have to.
