Clicking music.apple.com links in Safari switches on Apple Music in Settings

When I do a search in a search engine, sometimes there are links in the search results to web pages on http://music.apple.com. On iOS and iPadOS and clicking these links it opens the Apple Music page for whatever the search result is (presumably through some URL scheme that Music.app has registered).

However this also has the side effect of enabling "Show Apple Music" in Music.app's settings. Simply by clicking a link in Safari. It's not really reasonable to expect that clicking a link in Safari could causes any settings to apps on my device. I'm clicking the link because I'd like to see the web page.

Is there a way to disable this behavior? It doesn't appear that Music.app uses an extension that I can disable inside Safari's settings.

Thanks.
