Mystery alarms on my iphone

My mothers phone has a mystery alarm that goes off at 8:20 am. Here’s the details and steps we’ve taken:

  1. closed all open apps
  2. restarted iphone
  3. deleted all alarms
  4. confirmed sleep & bedtime are not set

the alarm is a standard clock app alarm with a normal notification (no details). The clock icon appears at the top notification bar next to the battery.

not sure how to find the alarm and shut it off! It’s like it never existed on this phone in the first place.

Hello Haleyg219,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. Upon review of your post, it seems that you are trying to locate the source of an unknown alarm on your mother’s iPhone. We can see why you’d want this taken care of, so let us help from here! This article explains more about alarms, both enabling and disabling: Set an alarm on iPhone. It does sound like you’ve checked all of these, but please review the article just to make 100% sure.

Next, we’d suggest that you check any apps that may have been installed on the iPhone that could come with an alarm or reminder setting to alert you to something time-sensitive in the app. Please let us know if you have follow up questions, so we can continue assisting. Take care!
