Unable to login in Facebook IOS App. Facing forgot pass alert even on correct password.

Hi everyone.

I am facing a weird forget password popup on the IOS Facebook app. I am logging in with my correct password and even facing the "Did you forget your password" alert.

Tried multiple times after changing the password from the web and then tried on the ios FB app.

Did anyone else face this or know how to fix it?

I have also tried deleting FB ios app. Resetting Ios network/privacy settings.

Nothing seems to work.

Did you really delete the FB app, or just remove it from your Home screen. You must delete it completely, restart your phone before adding it back. And also do the same for any other FB hosted apps. When you logged in with a different FB ID it remember that; most likely that’s why you can’t log in with your own ID.

Your problem is with Facebook, which is not an Apple product. You need to work with Facebook support.

One possibility: Do you have a VPN app and profile installed on your phone, even if you aren’t using it currently? If you are, try deleting the app and profile.

Then you will have to get help from Facebook. Have you tried from a computer?

Its working fine on web and any-other mobile. It was also working fine today but i had to logout to login another fb id. But failed to do so and then i tried my previous id again but failed to logon and now facing this continuously.

I deleted all apps and VPN profiles. Still the same alert. I also am not able to log in to any other FB account.
