Shuffling my Apple Music library or a playlist on Google Nest

The seems to be a problem with the shuffle command on Google Nest with Apple Music, specifically that it is not looking at the entire playlist or library, but only a certain amount of the first few songs. For example, I use the following commands:

"Hey Google, shuffle my library"

"Hey Google, shuffle my XYZ playlist"

In the first case, when shuffling my library, it will take a small group of the same 50 songs, every time, and shuffle them. It makes my apple music experience on Google Nest very repetitive, considering I hear the same songs over and over again, even though my library is around 4000 songs.

If I shuffle a playlist (for example, I put my entire library in a playlist, sorted by artist), I will only hear songs from artists starting with the letter "A". So again, it seems to take a certain amount of the first songs in the playlist and shuffles them.

This has to be considered a bug, and should be fixed. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've done some more digging. When I ask google to shuffle my library it's actually shuffling the auto generated "my favorites" playlist. This playlist has only 25 songs which is why we seem to hear the same songs over and over. Once the playlist updates with fresh songs on Tuesday, the music will seem fresh for a bit then get repetative again very quickly. I cannot figure out a way to shuffle my entire library, and this will probably be a deal breaker for me if it doesn't get addressed.

This is the very reason I’m here. It’s so annoying. And, even worse, it took me a minute to realize it. Apple Music becomes useless when I have all of these songs, but can only listen to a handful otherwise, I have to listen to apples choices of music for me.

listening to my music on shuffle is my preference because I may not always want to listen music in order every single time - which means if I’m only listening for an hour, I’ll always hear the same 12 songs either way. I hope there’s a fix to this.
