MAC AIR M1 - APPLE USB SUPER DRIVE

Hi everyone

I have a new Macbook Air M1 since 2021. I want to order an external harddisc to backup my Fotos-> would the "apple USB super drive" be good for that?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

The Apple USB SuperDrive is an optical drive for CDs and DVDs.

I'd recommend one of these drives for backups:

As Jack-19 noted you would want a hard drive (or SSD) to use as a backup. There are many to choose from.
