In safari how do I sort entire bookmark list.
The instructions only tell me how to sort bookmarks within a bookmark folder.
After creating a new bookmark folder, it is at the bottom. I know that I can manually move it,
but can I sort all bookmark folders alphabetically?

You have to sort folder by folder.
Right click the Folder name and choose the option.
Folders have to be dragged and dropped in alphabetical order.

I find it difficult to drag and drop a bookmark folder to where I want it.
In the course of dragging the folder it often inadvertently drops into another folder and then I have trouble finding it.
It seems that there should be a simple way of putting bookmarks/bookmark folders in alphabetical order.
