Stuck in guided access

My iphone is stuck in guided access and I can’t unlock it to turn it off. The part of the screen that guided access has disabled is preventing me from being able to put my passcode in and is also preventing me from even being able to turn my phone off. Since it’s on the lock screen, I can’t triple click the lock button to turn guided access off. I can’t use siri to open my settings or anything to try and turn it off because it’s requiring my passcode instead of face ID. I’m completely out of ideas, is there a way to force guided access off from this point, short of letting my phone die and restarting it?

Hello meghannshae,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to turn off Guided Access to enter your passcode. We can understand why you'd reach out for a solution.

Let's try these steps if you have Face ID or Touch ID turned on.

Use Guided Access with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

"End a Guided Access session

Triple-click the Side or Home button, enter your Guided Access passcode, then tap End. Or if you turned on Touch ID or Face ID for Guided Access, double-click the Side or Home button."

Cheers!
