Transferring voice memos from iPhone to iMac (27-inch, Late 2009)

I have to have High Sierra so I can use some old software. I need to transfer 1,743 voice memos from my Iphone 8 (OS 15.1).

ALSO: Voice memos is on my iphone to save to Icloud BUT when I go to Icloud on HS, VOICE MEMOS is not listed.

ALSO: I tried using EDIT to send 1 voice memo file to my email (mac.com) address but it doesn't show up.

This all started because my voice memos app on my Iphone is only playing back the first 17 seconds of every memo. Corrupted?
