Can't access "SOME" websites this morning on any browser, but just my laptop

This morning I can get on gmail, YouTube, Facebook, Dateline NBC and some other websites, but Ravelry, Tucows, AAA.com, Etsy.com, Isitdownrightnow, and this website, and many others I can't. And it's the same ones on EVERY browser. Also can't get to those same ones on Guest User, either. I checked websiteplanet.com for if things were up or not. Everything is up.

But my husband can get them on his laptop, and on my iPad everything works. So I did a shutdown, looked for updates, cleared cache and cookies, restarted, called my ISP and still, no to certain websites.

So it's my computer, but I'm stumped.

They all say "We're having trouble finding that site-can't connect to the server at..."

I'm on a MacBook Air, mid 2013 running High Sierra 10.13.6

Help! And please be gentle with me and talk to me like I'm 6 because I don't know anything about going into safe mode or anything behind the scenes... Thanks!
