Reset Password after Family Member Died
Hi
I lost mum a while back and she had an iPad which I’m trying to reset but I don’t know her Apple ID password.
what’s the best way to get this resolved so I can reset the device?

I'm afraid the only way to do this is to get Apple to release her account to you, and for this you will need to get a Court Order: you will also need to know her Apple ID. Please see https://support.apple.com/HT208510
