Error Code 1104 - Black Screen - iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd Gen
My iPad Pro 3rd Gen 12.9" screen went black while using it. Doing a force reset did not fix the issue. During reset, Apple logo does show up on the screen. Once device is booted the screen is black. If you press the power button several times, it will occasionally flash the display on then off for a fraction of a second. Connected via USB C to iMac and attempted to upgrade to iOS 15.2 (from 15.1) and during update I got an Error Code 1104 and update failed. During update, screen worked fine showing status. Rebooted and then selected option to restore to default. Once this was complete I got a message "There is a problem with you iPad". No change to screen after resetting to default (still black with occasional flashing on the display while pressing power button on/off). Battery level is at 100%. Any idea what is wrong? Seems like maybe a hardware issue?
