My messages app on my Mac do not sync and update.

Hey guys

As I mentioned, the messages app on my Mac doesn't update and sync, thus I can't send messages from my Mac.

I tried everything.

Signing in and out, disabling and enabling, force sync, restart both the iPhone and the Mac.

I will be very happy to try something new that you would suggest.

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Go to your iPhone settings in phone , make sure that calls in other devices is in and in messages make sure Send & Receive you can see in the list your phone number is selected and your Apple ID too , in the bottom only one is selected , and in Text messages forwarding get there and if you see your Mac there and if is off turn the toggle ON
