It seems that almost the entire “Very Short Introductions” series (by Oxford Univ. Press) is available on Books.
However, “Intelligence: A very short introduction” (2nd. Ed., published March 2020) is not available. Neither its 1st Ed.. But they do sell the audiobook of the 2nd. Ed.
How can I nudge Apple to offer this ebook in Books?
OUP got back to me quickly. It turned out that there was an issue with the cover page in their PDF, preventing the automatic upload of this volume. They fixed it, and the next day “Intelligence: A very short introduction (2nd Ed.)” became available on Apple Books. Sometimes things are easy. Thanks again.

You need to contact the publisher. They are the ones who determine whether their books are offered for sale in Apple's stores.
