If I click on a link in Apple Mail I get error -10673. I can right click and use the Open With to open the link.
This happens on my 2015 15" MacBook Pro. I don't have the same problem on my 2021 13" MacBook Pro.
Both are at Version 12.1

What solved the problem for me was changing the default email reader in the Mail application (Mail->Preferences->General) back to mail. For some reason, it was selecting Microsoft Edge as default. Doing this removed the error message and I was able to click email links in my Mail app. Hope it works for you too.

I am getting the message using Safari as my browser on all links I try to open. These are trusted links.
It is cropping back. I restarted and resolved it . Then after a few weeks, erro10673 came back again. I use Opers and Firefox

Yes, this is the most simple solution for this problem. First I open my browser Google Chrome and then my mailbox. When I click an item it opens without error code. This always works.
You can always use Safari in Private Browsing mode and that would workaround the security issue.
I have this problem as from today 10/2/2022 on my Mac pro 11.6.2 update.

This is happening when Chrome is set as the default browser. Cannot open any embedded, trusted links without getting "The application can't be opened - 10673" message. I am forced to open another browser (Firefox) every time and continue through the links. I'm reading all your answers and can't follow to a solution, other than to use Safari as my default browser? WTF? Is Chrome not useable? Seems like this started happening when Google pushed out latest version of Chrome.
Hi, could you explain where you get that and what we have to do about it? Im very basic in computer knowledge and have been experiencing the same issue just after my update, I didn't change anything else. I cannot even use the zoom links. I have my default browser set to chrome, why should I change that? It was the same before and all worked well. My emails work perfectly with my iPad or phone so it is the lap top the problem. thanks
I get an error message of 10673 When I click on a link and the Finder App pops up saying it cannot be opened,
This also happened when I was trying to create a signature for my outlook email..
How can I fix the error?
I do have other browsers installed. Chrome and Firefox but Safari is set as the default browser.
