Buying music in iTunes

My wife just got her first MacBook Pro (woo hoo!) She and I are in a family to share music we purchase and she is signed up with iTunes Match. The question is...she went to purchase some music in iTunes and it didn't give her a cost for the albums/songs just a "+". She clicked on that and still nothing about how much they were going to cost. They have appeared in her library and they were downloaded to our drive! However...they do NOT appear in her "Recent Purchases" in her iTunes account. And no, they aren't hidden either. We just want to make sure this is legit and that we aren't going to get charged later for them. Also, how can we get them to appear in her "Recent Purchases" so they can be shared in the family.

TIA

Mike

Mike,

It sounds like she was looking in the Apple Music catalog instead of looking in the iTunes Store. Carefully follow the steps in here:
