What are the possibilities that causes a iPhone 12 Pro to crash ( jammed) n the Apple Logo and causes me to loose my vacation pictures?

Have you tried force-restarting your phone?

  • Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
  • Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
  • Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears (15-30 seconds), ignoring "slide to power off"

The operative word here is QUICKLY; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky.

There are thousands of possibilities. Here are a few:

  • The iPhone was run over by a bus.
  • The iPhone was dropped into a toilet.
  • The iPhone was pryed open.
  • The iPhone was overheated.

Backups must occur before catastrophes. After a catastrophe it’s too late.
