iPhone 13 pro is on but I’m not using it. So it’s in sleep mode. The screen light doesn’t turn off. I checked everything I could find in settings but found no reason. Does anyone have a suggestion?

On your iPhone, tap Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock, and then ensure the setting isn't set to Never.
If your iPhone isn't following the auto-lock setting, then test after restarting your iPhone and after ensuring iOS is updated:
