Can I set a maximum charge % on my MacBook Pro?

Is there a setting to change (possibly through a Terminal command) that can set a maximum charge level for the battery on my MacBook Pro? I typically have it plugged in 24/7 and would like to limit the charge level to preserve the battery life. I have seen another thread about this, but that was from 2013, so I'm hoping almost 9 years might have resulted in some additional capability. I know Tesla vehicles have this capability...does the Mac?

Thanks!

See the information about optimized battery charging in If battery charging is paused or on hold on your Mac - Apple Support

The option will maintain your battery at 80% if it is used mainly while plugged in.
