iPhone 13 Mini Crashes Regularly

I've had my iPhone 13 Mini for about a month now, and it has crashed two different times. When this happens, it enlarges whatever is on the screen until everything is HUGE and there is no way to make it go back to normal. The buttons *could* still work, except that you can't scroll enough to press them. It's impossible to shut down in the regular way, although I did discover a work-around by Googling: press the volume up, press the volume down, then hold the power button. This will restart it, and it seems to return to normal...until the next time it crashes.

Are you sure that you're not seeing the accessibility feature called Zoom?

On your iPhone Home Screen, double tap the display using 3 fingers.

Does it zoom in similar to what you were seeing before?

You should be able to drag the screen around using 3 fingers.

If this is what you were seeing, that is not a crash, it's the zoom feature. To zoom back out you'd double tap with 3 fingers again.

If you don't want this to occur, go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom and toggle off the switch at the top

The volume up, volume down, side button.. that's called a force restart.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities Biz_2022,

We understand you've encountered an issue with your iPhone, that prevented you from being able to use it normally. The step you had taken to force the device to restart, are the appropriate solution for this type of behavior. While instances like this are rare, they can happen. If the behavior continues, we recommend that you contact Apple Support. They'll have the resources needed to investigate and assist further.

Cheers!
