Cannot Find Files On Newer Mac mini After Migration using Migration Assistant

After using Migration Assistant to transfer files from an older iMac to a newer Mac mini, the older profile of the iMac replaced the newer profile of the Mac mini. I cannot locate what was on my mac mini prior to the migration. My photos, songs, apps, docs that were on my Mac mini prior to the migration are gone, hopefully not gone for ever. It's like I'm using my old iMac again, on my Mac mini. How do I get my newer Mac mini profile back or switch profiles? Any info, suggestions will be appreciated greatly. Thank you!

This is exactly why it is always best to Migrate your User data, during the initial setup of a new Mac.

Generally if you Migrate later using Migration Assistant utility, then there should be both a new and old Account.

To check, go to Apple > System Preferences > Users & Groups and look to see if you have 2 User Accounts.

If not, then you have made a fatal mistake using Migration Assistant and did not save both User Accounts. Sadly at this point the only hope of recovering that data, is if you made a backup of that first Account.
