I have an iMac 27" (2011) and considering purchasing a MacBook Pro 14". Can I use the iMac as a display screen attached to MacBook Pro?

Smilin-Brian: The article you directed me to applies when connecting an iMac 2011 to another old model Mac prior to 2019. The MacBook Pro 14" I plan to buy will be 2021. Will the solution you provided work with the new MacBook Pro?

The article cited explicitly says it will NOT work, since the MacBook Pro is later than a 2019 model, AND running later than Catalina..
Yes, that was my understanding also. I have read about "Luna Display" by Astropad, apparently available from the App Store. This appears to offer a hardware solution to the problem. Any thoughts about this product?
