Hard Drive or formatting problem

During an erase and reinstall my hard drive went from 1TB to 4 mb. how can I fix this?

I was attempting to wipe my hard drive and I ended up restoring it using the G-UTILITIES partition as the disk to restore from since that is within the same hard drive. now my hard drive only reads as 4GB free when it should be 4TB. how do i get the rest of my storage back?

Sounds like you did not erase all of the drive. I would start over. When you erase pick the top vol. shown.
