My hard drive sotorage is only partially available.

I was attempting to wipe my hard drive and I ended up restoring it using the G-UTILITIES partition as the disk to restore from since that is within the same hard drive. now my hard drive only reads as 4GB free when it should be 4TB. how do i get the rest of my storage back?

Erased Hard Drive - Still have 300 GB in "Other" Hi, I wanted a clean install of Big Sur on my Air, as I was getting a lot of spinning discs. I did not have a lot of files on the computer, so I did not see this as a big job. 1TB hard drive says almost full but I can only see 200GB used. My hard drive "Users" indicates almost 800GB being stored, but I can only see less than 55GB. Where can I find and clean up the invisible files? Edited to add that the HD/Users indicates 789GB; Applications 91GB; Library 40GB; and System 18GB.
