My AirPods won’t connect anymore

Why won’t my airpods (2nd gen) pair with my phone? (iPhone xs)

One day my airpods were glitching out so I pressed forget device on Bluetooth because that’s what I’ve done every other time they glitched out but now they won’t connect back to my phone and I have no idea why.

Everytime I press the button to search it doesn’t flash it just consistently stays white and it’s not a charging problem they’re always charged can someone please help me. T-T
