wifi stopped connecting on my MacAir

Unable to get wifi to work. Seems related to the network yet all my other devices are fine.

IT was helpful but when I checked the wifi IP address I realized the laptop was responding to an old router. I then went into the Network system folder and manually changed the wifi IP address to match my new router.

Hey harvdog,

We understand you're unable to connect to your Wi-Fi network on your MacBook Air. We see you reviewed this article If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi. Did you run the Wireless Diagnostics? If so, what was the outcome?

If you have not ran the test, follow the steps in the article to do so. If it still doesn't connect, test with a different Wi-Fi network.

Take care.
