Hi my watch is flat I lost it two weeks ago but it is changing location everyday on the find my app but the screen is showing up black and on icloud it is saying offline … it is only changing location once a day and is as if it is in my car but I’ve gone right over the car, bags, pockets everything and nothing.. is there a reason it is still showing as it is in my car?
it is also saying the sound is playing yet I can’t hear anything in my car or anywhere..
very confusing.

I figured out it is tracking my phone as I changed cars and it was saying it was around the same road I had drove on. Giving up on finding my watch though 💔
The same exact issue is happening to my niece on her lost Apple Watch. Her greyed out watch is changing location between with her and not with her, without any other variables changing. I understand the ability to utilize other apple devices signal to ping while dead or online, but the location changing and sound attempt is not consistent with her other devices.
