Apple TV 3rd generation wifi connectivity

My Apple TV 3rd Gen does not show any wifi menu or option to connect wifi in General -> Settings -> Network. It only shown Ethernet connection, & once the ethernet cable is connected it does not connect to internet either. The ethernet wire & connections are all working otherwise. What is the solution?

If the ethernet port is empty, then it should offer Wi-Fi options.

If an ethernet plug is seated in the ethernet port, then use of ethernet is assumed, and Wi-Fi would be unavailable.

If your device has a hardware failure, then there is no official support from Apple anymore for this older model. Apple’s advise in such cases seems to be to purchase a newer model.
