Which communications from Apple are real and which are fake?

As an older, less technical person, I am

very uncertain when I receive a communication that is fake or real.

I received a text this morning about a request from apple support asking me

wether I wanted a link to Apple Support

I guess regarding billing.

I’m not sure what this is.

Has technology “overwhelmed “ my

intelligence to the point that I shouldn’t be using iphone, ipad, laptop anymore?

Any guidance from a real person would

be greatly appreciated.
