Safari bug via proxy in Monterey

After upgrading to Monterey version, we found a problem with Safari.

When connecting to the corporate network via vpn (cisco any connect - version 4.10.03104), we cannot access external sites, links do not open in the browser and internal sites (bypassing the proxy) open.

If you open the same link in another browser (Google Chrome / Edge / Firefox) - everything works.

The problem only occurs in the Safari browser on Monterey, in Big Sur and earlier versions - everything works correctly.

sniffed traffic with a network analyzer when Safari used - you can see, that when the proxy server asked for credentials for authorization - Safari does not send anything, we get an error code 407 "proxy authentication required"

Does anyone have the same problem? Or is it already a solution?

Greetings, azav68.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We can understand why you’d want to resolve the issue with your internal links not opening when using Safari. It sounds like you’ve done some great troubleshooting steps so far.

We suggest working through the additional steps shown, here: If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected

We hope this helps! Thanks for being a part of the community.

Sincerely.

Good day Chris_C1!

You didn't understand the question, internal links open fine - they don't require proxy authentication.

The problem is not with internal links that the Safari browser does not open, but the problem is that all links that require authentication through a proxy in Safari - Safari does not give credentials for correct proxy authentication

as a result we get error 407.

I note again that the problem is in Monterey and Safari !

In other browsers - everything works, in the previous version of BigSur - everything worked too.
