Missing full list of screen resolutions

Mac Mini M1 16GB RAM, running Monterey 12.1

When I try to select the correct screen resolution (in my case it's 1920x1220), I only have two options; 1920x1080 or 1280x720. Alt-clicking doesn't help. When I choose 'default for display' get an error message reading 'There was an error in display preferenes'. It then sets the resolution incorrectly and everything appears magnified at the wrong resolution.

Any ideas...?

Click on the Apple Icon upper left corner, pull down to About This Mac > System Report > Graphics/Displays. You should see something like my screen shot below. It will tell you the display parameters you can expect from what you have attached to the computer.
