why is my phone not ringing

Try a Hard Reset:

1. Press volume up
2. Press volume down
3. Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo ( ) appears

If that didn't help, then get expert service and support at the Genius Bar.

Make sure the volume for all calls, messages, and any other notifications are turned up in Settings.

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Sound
3. Adjust the Volume to your preference (You can also change the ring tone for different categories within this section)

I hope this helps, if it doesn’t let me know, and if you want to make sure that you never change the ringer volume again, you can disable Change with Volume Buttons. This way, you must go into settings to change your ringer volume.

▷ Check to see if your Bluetooth settings have another device connected (headphones, speaker, etc.) that may reroute your incoming phone calls. 
