Dark gray folder icons have appeared in the Attachments pulldown in Apple mail. They're inactive and can't be clicked. I would like to remove them but can't find them elsewhere. There are folders with these names, and they're not locked or anything, but these are phantoms of some kind.

Hi, thanks for your comments. They still appear in Safe mode. I also noticed that this list of Favorites is of course the same as the Favorites on the left in Finder windows, with the addition of those three phantom items.

When I look online for how to edit Favorites in MacOS, the results are 110% about Safari. Is there a way to edit the favorites on the left in Finder windows as a separate file somewhere?
