FaceTime calls lower system volume and other apps

Hello !

When I use FaceTime, the sound of a other app like Netflix, Youtube etc... becomes low. How can I have the same sound volume ?

Thanks for your answers.

Hi sahad273,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand you have a question related to the system volume while on a FaceTime call. We can help address this.

What you've described is expected. Essentially, your FaceTime call is taking priority when it comes to the volume on your Mac, so other things playing at the same time will be lowered to allow your audio to be focused on your call.

Best regards.
