My child’s iPhone does not show the location unless he is at home. Could he be turning it off or is there another explanation?
We use a family sharing account as well as screen time

If the phone does not have a data connection, either WiFi or cellular, it can't report its location.
If the phone is powered off, it can't report its location.
It may report less frequently if it is in low power mode.

Could be off or he turn it off , go to iPhone settings/privacy/location services , everything there must be on and also sharing my location , Check cellular data all options should be on too
