When I click on "buy seasons" in the apple tv app on my mac, I only have the option to buy the individual seasons one at a time and the total is much more expensive than the advertised series price on iTunes preview. There is no "buy series" selection on this menu. So, how do I buy the whole series?

Good point, the show is Parks and Recreation. I was confused because on this page it says the series is $69.99 in total, but when you click the "Watch on Apple TV" link there's no option for that price for the series. Thanks.
Not all shows are available as all seasons to buy as one item.

Try doing the purchase on a different device, if you have that. Perhaps it is easier to find the Buy button for the Complete Series in a different app/device. E.g. the iTunes Store app on iPhone/iPad.
That page says that this would be purchasable as one item from the US iTunes Store (for users with a US account). It may not apply to other countries or regions.
