The globe key in my Smart Keyboard does not seem to function for multitasking

I’ve an ipadpro11 with Smart Keyboard bought recently. Multitasking function is enabled. However I’m not able to use globe key for shortcuts. Any help?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

Hi haridoss194, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

You can change the action you want the Globe key to perform by going to: Settings > General > Keyboards > Hardware Keyboards > Modifier Keys > Globe Key.

However, you may also find the following link useful as it explains how to bring up Keyboard shortcuts when you press and hold the Command key.

Thanks for pointing out the keyboard settings.

in my case, however, I had to update the software. This action has corrected it.

I’m now able to use the shortcuts globe-CNTRL-up/down right/left keys for multitasking.
