If Xfinity has completed the task successfully, then you should no issues with the AT&T SIM card and service.
If you have not, then contact Xfinity again and ask them to validate that your iPhone has been unlocked by them. Allow 1-2 days to pass then try with AT&T again. Make sure that your reboot your iPhone before you check the unlock status.
