Mac login. Invalid password attempts limit

Recently I noticed that macOS doesn’t have (or I can't find a setting for it) login invalid passwords attempts limit, like my phone, bank account, etc. The question is, how can I enable something that works like an invalid password attempts limit?

I am looking for:

After ten invalid attempts, macOS asks you to log in with an email

30 seconds interval between attempts

Etc.

I did it! But "Delay after failed login attempts (macOS only)" doesn't seem to work as I expected. It doesn't ask you to wait 2 minutes after every wrong password attempt.

Maybe it expects me to enable:

"Maximum number of failed attempts"

"Number of passcode entry attempts allowed before all data on the device will be erased (iOS) or locked (macOS)"

But I am unsure what "Locked" means. Will it delete all my data? (I don't want to test that)
