iCloud doesn’t backup everything. Is there a way to mirror or clone it? I have wasted a huge amount of time trying to back up everything I installed or keyed into my iphone8 before I wipe it and mail it back to Apple to be replaced. Thx

Not sure what you mean by everything but you can read here What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support
Would backing up to a computer save the data you want saved?

The issue was how to (1) do a 100% complete copy; and (2) how to know everything was copied. I was right—the only way js via my MacBook without any need for the iCloud solution. Thx for your response.
