I just purchased a Series 7 - Apple watch for my daughter's birthday. She opened the package, and it has a charging cable, but there was not a USB-C charger adapter in the box. Do we have to purchase that adapter (the thing that plugs into the AC outlet) - or should that have been in the box?
Apple clearly notes what is in the box on the order page and the charging plug has not been included in Apple Watch, nor iPhone for the last couple generations. If you don't have a USB C charging plug, nor have you had an Apple Watch previously (previously chargers can be used), nor a modern computer/laptop with USB C inputs, you'll need to buy a USB C Charging plug. To take advantage of fast charging on Apple Watch 7, you'll want a 20w USB C plug. Apple sells one. Best Buy sells them as does Amazon. The Anker Nano 20w USB C plug sold at Best Buy and Amazon for about $16 is highly rated.
