My phone lets me record my voicemail, but doesn’t let me set it? It says there is an error.

If you are seeing an error, I'm guessing it is a numerical error? Generally you will see something like a 1035 error? If that is the case, the issue is with your cellular carrier. They are the ones that are responsible for voicemail, and only they can help you when it isn't working correctly. The greeting is saved on their voicemail servers, so if you are unable to save the greeting, the carrier is going to have to help you with the problem.
