You don't, there are no supported Bluetooth profiles on the iPhone that will work with your Mac. For AirDrop it only uses the Bluetooth to identify the device but it doesn't have to be paired to do that. It uses WiFi to actually move the files. Try restarting your iPhone, Mac and router and do it again.

You cannot pair an iPhone and a Mac (or any computer) using Bluetooth, except to use the phone as a “modem” to access the cellular network. It is not supported, and unneeded. You use Airdrop or Continuity functions, which do not require pairing the phone and the computer; all that's required is that both devices are logged into the same Apple ID and use the same Wi-Fi network.
Are you attempting to pair your iPhone with your MacBook Pro over a Bluetooth connection? If you are, then that is not possible. You cannot pair these two devices over Bluetooth.
What is your end goal?

It depends on what BT is being used for as to whether it shows up as a device in that listing. All AirDrip uses Bluetooth for is the original identification of the device to hand it off to WiFi to actually transfer information. I have never paired my iPhones to any of my Macs and can still Airdrop to and from them. I suggest you remove the previous pairing from your Macs, forget the pairing on your iPhone, restart all devices including your router and try again. Also be sure both devices are connected to the same WiFi band and set the iPhone to everyone rather than known contacts.
Butch, this is not a Bluetooth function. To take calls from your iPhone on you Mac read and follow these instructions:
Make and receive calls on your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
First off you can ignore the Bluetooth screen but you may want to do a forced restart on your iPhone.
Have you removed the devices in Bluetooth both from your Mac and phones?
FYI, I lost the ability to Airdrop with my mac after I updated my phones & ipad to 15.3. At first, my devices couldn't find my Mac & vice versa but after a few wks, they were able to find each other & connect but the connection drops after 30 secs. Open a ticket w/tech support. Maybe if they get enough complaints, they'll fix this in a future release.
I checked the settings on my MacMini and my MacBook Pro, my iPhone does not show in the Bluetooth section at all so forget them there and try again.
Airdrop is not working. Message on iPhone says pairing MacBook is not supported. Issue started after recent upgrade on iPhone and also on mac
There is no reason for them to show up in Bluetooth at all. You may want to get your mac looked at.
Were you unable to use Airdrop prev then last night it started working? I just tried again & now the connection between my iPhone & mac are NOT dropping (1 prob solved) however Airdrop still can’t find my phone. Any suggestions? I SO apprec your help!!
Tried that... it didn't work. Just noticed that when I try to connect from my Mac to my phone I can't connect but when I do the reverse (connect phone to mac) they do connect. Very strange. The mac specialist I worked with wks ago even tried to reboot my mac in safe mode. Everything thus far has been unsuccessful in fixing Airdrop.
If your iphone doesn't show in BT (on your macs) that it's connected then where else are you able to find the list of connected devices? I thought all connected devices show in BT regardless of whether they're actually connected via BT??
I've tried everything & still not able to use Airdrop to/from my Mac. It says 'no people found' (on my phone) even though my phone shows it's connected to my mac via my network. Airdrop works fine between my phones, ipad & with other people, just not w/my Mac (since updating phones & ipad to 15.3). Apprec your time...I'm at my wits end.
In that case, maybe there’s a prob w/the handoff (in the network or some setting) & that’s why Airdrop doesn’t work even though my phone’s connected? FYI, I’ve never paired any of my iphones w/my Mac. I’m guessing they show in BT because I’ve sync’d all my devices via iTunes. I’ve restarted every device incl my router bur that hasn’t worked.
