Elgato Video Capture” needs to be updated. But can't open it to get to menu.

Monterey only runs 64-bit. Elgato (original) has been around since SnowLeoaprd (I used it on SL). Since 10.11 there has been the 64-bit app that can be downloaded: https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028242551-Elgato-Video-Capture-2-0-for-macOS-is-now-available

Did not look for upgrade/re-buy costs, but it did offer download without asking for money.
