iMessage Not syncing properly on Mac

Recent upgrade to Monterey 12.1 from Big Sur.

I like the clean upgrade so important to sync with things like iMessage.

My iCloud account uses iMessage but when I reconnected from my oldest message but only until December 20th. Very strange, new messages show up on my Mac, but there is a gap in time almost a month? I have tried everything found on the community including logging out of iMessage on the Mac and disabling iMessage on my iPhone and after waiting a few minutes turning them both back on.

The Mac says is it syncing, but never gets the messages within the time gap.

Any suggestions?

Please disregard, appears I needed to disable on iPhone and Mac.

Reboot Mac and then it synced, now i have everything.
